The Dragons are out to continue their hot start to the NRLW competition when they host the Roosters at Kogarah on Saturday afternoon.

The match provides St George Illawarra with an opportunity to make an early season statement against last year's premiers after a Round 1 win over the Raiders.

Rookie Indie Bostock was superb on debut for the Dragons last week and she's set for a fascinating battle with Roosters star Isabelle Kelly.

The defending champions opened their account with a comprehensive victory over the Warriors and they can continue rolling with a win on Saturday.

Jocelyn Kelleher continues to develop as a playmaker, while Rima Butler and Olivia Kernick are out to set the tone up front.

The Roosters' firepower will provide a unique test for a young Dragons squad and Hannah Southwell's experience will be crucial throughout the contest as they look to cause an upset.

Team News

Dragons: Following a strong win against the Raiders last week, there has been a slight reshuffle of the backs with Keele Browne named on the wing and Bobbi Law named at centre.

Roosters: More injury concerns for the Roosters this week with a new wing combination named to take on the Dragons. Scans have confirmed a dislocation and fracture of the right elbow for representative winger Jayme Fressard, with Taina Naividi, who scored a hat-trick last week, is out with concussion. Logan Fletcher comes in for her first appearance, while Mia Wood moves from the second row to the backs. Aliyah Nasio comes from the bench to start in the second row, with Amber Hall coming onto the bench.
