Injuries, a bye for the Fantasy-relevant Broncos and some untimely injuries mean many coaches will be struggling to field a scoring 17 this week, with plenty set to burn some of those newly-released trades ahead of Round 20.

In this week's article we look at a handful of the best replacements for out-of-action HLF Hugo Savala and EDG Dylan Lucas, along with Tanah Boyd's value for the remainder of the year.

NRL Fantasy Q&A: Round 20

Hynes or Campbell this week?

A 93 last week for Nicho Hynes was a nice throwback to his glory days on the Fantasy scene, but there's only one answer here as far as I'm concerned.

Despite spitting out three scores under 40 in his last four games, Jayden Campbell is still much more likely to hit 60+ scores from here than Hynes is.

Heroics from Hynes

At the Titans almost everything goes through Campbell in attack, whereas Hynes very much has to compete for good ball with Braydon Trindall, who in some respects has become the more dominant playmaker at Cronulla.

Hynes also has a bye to come in Round 25 (when finals will be happening in head-to-head leagues), while Campbell will be a green dot every week from here if he stays healthy.

Is Tanah Boyd worth a trade?

If you're going to move off Hugo Savala this week and need to trade in a HLF for him, yes.

In terms of HLFs, Boyd isn't likely to sit in the elite tier of scorers for the rest of the season, while at $512k he's not super cheap either. He's not a must have at all.

But, if you need to bring a HLF in to fill the void created by Savala's absence then Boyd is probably going to score as well as players like Nicho Hynes or Jamal Fogarty, who are up to $150k more expensive than he is.

He's got good job security now and will be kicking goals for a Warriors side that has favourable matchups to come against sides like the Titans (twice) and Eels.

Who is the better Dylan Lucas replacement, Jacob Preston or Hudson Young?

Both are really good options at EDG, but if you know you won't be able to cover for Young in Round 24, when the Raiders have their final bye, then it's an easier call to make.

Out of the two, Young has the higher ceiling and an easier path to hitting regular 65+ scores.

Hudson is unstoppable!

But at $777k, compared to Preston at $695k, you're paying for that difference.

Factoring in the bye round still to come for the Raiders, I like Preston in the long run.

If you don't like either then Beau Fermor is a like-for-like replacement who can cover CTR and EDG, but while he has a high floor he isn't likely to crack elite scores.
